Below are a few of our recent fundraisers:

• St Marys Church, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight recently donated £56 which they have collected for the ACDT!  Thank you so much!


• Olivia & Seagh Henderson decided to collect their coppers for a whole year & between them saved £30 which they have donated to the ACDT! What great savers!


• 11 year old Sally Thorpe of Yarmouth, Isle of Wight chose Yarmouth Carnival Week to show everyone how fabulous she was at baking cakes.  So great & tasty were the cakes that she raised an amazing £174 to buy mosquito nets for children in Uganda!  Thats 58 nets!! Well done Sally!


• Jump for Life 2011, our adrenlaine pumping group skydiving event took place on Sat 20th August in Cambridgeshire, England.  A coachload of brave people travelled up from the Isle of Wight to all skydive at 13,000 feet!  Everyone landed safely & a great sense of achievement was had by all! Early indications as sponsorship comes in is that these fabulous people have raised between £8k-£9k in sponsorship & donations! Wahey!


• Row for Life 2011 took place during Cowes Week, Isle of Wight 8th-10th August.  The 10 man endurance event, many veterans of our previous Row for Life events rowed indoors an amazing 1,000,000 metres non stop for just under 66 hours to break the Concept British Record! Sponsorship is being collected as we speak & it looks like the event has raised between £3k-£4k! Yay!
